About Us

SpeechUp was established by speech language therapist Shirley Cheung in 2022 with the vision of making learning easier for every child.

The goal of our business is not to just offer clinical services to children and adolescents with needs, but also to educate parents on the presence of neurodevelopmental disorders and special education needs as we recognize the importance of a caregiver’s role in the support of these challenges.

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, we have also been offering telehealth consultation services for clients across the country. We have procedures in place to ensure efficiency and quality of our online services.

The major types of service we provide include:

Consultation:

• Individual rehabilitation services including Speech Language Assessment and Intervention, occupational assessment and therapy, behavioural assessment and intervention, play therapy for clients aged 2 to 18.

• Individual Mental Health Counselling for children, teenagers and parents.

• Group sessions for a variety of skills such as social, play, emotional regulation for children aged 3 to 11.

• Intensive intervention program for children aged 3-6 with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

• In-school support from a learning aid (shadow teacher).

Education:

Our team provides the school and community with seminar, workshop, guidance and consultation.

We provide our services in Mandarin, English and Cantonese.

SpeechUp晞宇儿童发展中心是由中国香港注册言语治疗师 Shirley Cheung 张雪莲于 2022年成立，我们希望让每一个孩子都有平等学习的机会。

我们不仅为有需要的儿童和青少年提供临床服务，还希望向父母宣传科普关于神经发育障碍和特殊学习障碍等方面的知识，因为父母在支持孩子面对和克服这些挑战的过程中至关紧要。

自新冠疫情以来，我们也开始提供线上课程并拥有一系列流程保证干预的效果。

我们提供的主要服务包括:

咨询服务：

• 为2至18岁儿童而设的一对一个性化康复服务，包括言语评估及干预、职业评估及治疗、行为评估及干预、游戏治疗等。

• 为儿童、青少年及家长提供一对一的心理咨询。

• 针对3至11岁儿童的各种技能，如社交、游戏、情绪调节的小组课程。

• 针对3至6岁自闭症谱系障碍儿童的密集式干预项目。

• 学习支援（影子教师）的在校支持。

教育普及：

我们的团队为学校和社区提供研讨会、工作坊、指导和咨询。

我们提供英语、普通话以及粤语的咨询服务。
